I remember there being a reason for this, but I don’t remember what. It had something to do with WWII ending and maybe food manufacturing and people having tons of free time to try and figure out cuisine but nobody knew anything and so they just made gross shit for years until that French cookbook came out I think

The bananas literally make me want to vomit. 

Honestly, if I had to choose between these foods and potentially starving to death, I’d be hard pressed to not choose starvation.
