Watermelons for sale
A man balancing a tower of baskets on his head for the amusement of onlookers.
A foppish, well-dressed gentleman conversing with two nicely dressed ladies.
Market good being lifted off a cart in baskets.
A man on horseback playing a flute.
Three gentlemen drinking an alcoholic beverage, served by one of them from a large jug. All three men are shabbily dressed but one of them wears a blue velvet coat, probably bought second-hand.
A lady making and selling pancakes. Two children dip their fingers in the mixture, whilst the pancake seller’s husband sleeps soundly at her feet.
