Thinking about how Rey thought she was worth nothing on her own and that her job was to deliver a Skywalker to the Resistance (any Skywalker apparently), when all along her beacon was being passed around and protected by people all specifically waiting for her (her!!) to return

and then when she does return, realizing she can be the last hope and is enough all by herself, and sees what a real family and real love and care looks like in the people around her, and knowing she belongs with them

Also porgs are the fucking best they were an incredibly smart and fun way to cammouflage the puffins in the set without having to get them out of their habitat and give some life and character to the island, they provided adorable and much needed comic relief, didn’t interfere with the story or bit emotional scenes and being mad about them because “they were there to sell toys/are for children” is a stupid thing

Star Wars has always tried to integrate things that children can enjoy too and I’m very glad they do and the porgs and BB8 being adorable were something I adored and I hope they made kids in the audience happy as well and I will fucking fight you

All the Rose hate I’m seeing is more confusing than sad, tbh. In the end it mostly boils down to her getting in the way of people’s favorite pairings. Specifically FinnRey and FinnRose.

And alot of the people who hate her are the same people who aggressively defend Finn against any and all fandom racism. Now here they are throwing Rose “a woman of color” under the bus simply because they would rather for him to be with the white girl or Latino man.
